A few pictures of Ile aux Marins, a ghost island near the harbour of Saint-Pierre, Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon. The island was formally known as Ile aux Chiens in the 18th and 19th centurues, and Isle aux Grouesilles in the 17th century.

Yeah and we had the nerve to sell them some halibut last year and didn't buy anything from the USA and whammo, 50 % tariff for St Pierre and Miquelon, territory of France, 12 miles from Canada.

Trump Tariffs : they used the ISO 3166-1 list of 249 countries and associated territories— not the list of 193 independent countries recognized by the UN. According to an American journalist, they simply took their trade deficit with each territory and divided it by that territory's exports to them.

Sixty-three years ago, two Québécois filmmakers, Gilles Groulx and Claude Fournier, visited my islands. In one scene, I see my father talking to Friends for a few seconds. It’s the only film footage I have of my father who passed in 1980. The magic of film. Merci.
