I know this isn't a great card early game, but I'm still kind of surprised that this card doesn't see more play. I only ran across this because of its new printing.

A few weeks ago, I wrapped up MarcCon 2025, a mini Magic convention I organized for my 40th birthday.
A secret goal I set for myself: dust off my CE Black Lotus and surprise slam it in its first in-game appearance… but only by copying a friend’s Garth One-Eye commander.
I did it!

A few weeks ago, I wrapped up MarcCon 2025, a mini Magic convention I organized for my 40th birthday.
A secret goal I set for myself: dust off my CE Black Lotus and surprise slam it in its first in-game appearance… but only by copying a friend’s Garth One-Eye commander.
I did it!

Rankle’s obnoxiously mismatched manabase update. Each and every swamp must tilt someone somehow. It has become an exercise in creativity. If 1 is “white-bordered”, and 10 is “Black Lotus but sharpied over to say Swamp”, I think I’m operating at like 2-6. We can go deeper.

Clicked! I wonder if this is a region thing. I’m in the US now but I think my work phone is still routing me through Sweden where I live, and maybe it’s not available in that country.

So anyway, I’ve finally figured out one more way to have an upsetting swamp for my Rankle deck, I think a galaxy foil is getting stripped down to just the name and skull circle.
Need more ideas for obnoxious basics, short of tearing a guru swamp in half. (But I would buy someone’s damaged one…)

Honestly, I picked up a nameplate, and I'm super happy with it. Couldn't bring myself to spend more than that though, it's just a Discord cosmetic. And I say this as someone who spends exorbitant amounts on cardboard.

This wizard card drinking game was being casually played by my friends. I started combining off but needed to take like five shots, so it’s a little unclear which one of us really lost… 🥴 Bringing Magic friends to a card game is certainly a vibe. 😂

Okay so Discord, Lord of Disharmony would be a pretty rough commander to manage… but I think I’ve made it a lot easier.
My iPad now takes an arbitrary number of random castable cards and spits out a single image of that turn’s options. Add Infinitokens for permanents.
Would you play against this?
