If trumpian republicans think murder is OK, maybe the current Republican party should disappear. After, there will be left and right as it should be but no pro-murder party.

I don't know what that lady walking on the sidewalk is up to. Maybe she's just taking a walk but maybe she's a drug smuggler. Shoot her!

Do you have any proposal?

Apparently, the territorial integrity part went out of the window.

It doesn't make sense. Either Politico is ill-informed or what Ukraine discusses with Washington isn't the real thing.

"The Ukraine war with Russia". 🤦

I'm not familiar with polling companies. Is Marist generally accurate?

I don't understand: if the administration wants to release the Epstein files, why don't they just do it? Why do they need a law forcing them to do what they could do anyway? They needed time to scrub the embarrassing parts of what?

This is ridiculous: the law he's using to impose harmful tariffs against US allies was supposed to allow him to impose sanctions against US ennemies. But he never used it. Only against democracies.

He had to say something: a vast majority of those who are being deported or sent to Stephen Miller's concentration camps are likely Catholics. Pius XII wrote "Mit brennender Sorge" encyclical in similar circumstances.

So, will they chose Trump who appointed them or the corporations who made Trump appoint them? My guess: they'll try to give both of them a win. Tariffs illegal but you don't have to reimburse them. Tariffs illegal but they can stay in place for a while till Congress clarifies. Something like that.

SCOTUS is generaly predictable as it's compromised in favor of Republicans and big business. Now, as business is suing Trump, I don't know where their loyalty will be this time.

Interesting graph, but the majority sits in those few seats in the middle. So yes, common sense matters.

I don't live in the US but I have a good friend in Washington. As I was considering visiting her last September, she told me: "don't do it! You have a thick French accent, you're obviously a foreigner (every tourist is), who knows what will happen to you". Do you realise you became 1936 Germany?
November 1, 2025 at 3:14 AM
Everybody does.

Disdain, yes. But I have no reason to believe he supports the democrats. For China to be a superpower, US standing in the world must be diminished. Trump offers him that on a silver platter.

The dispute isn't even between Cambodia and Thailand per se. It's a criminality issue where Thailand thinks Cambodia doesn't crack down on smugglers as much as they should. It's been going on for decades with ups and downs, isn't solved, and will likely go on for years. Xi knows it, Trump doesn't.

The key is "Of James, Trump said, "It looks to me like she is very guilty of something, but I really don’t know." So they had to make up something, anything would do.
