I enjoy using my fountain pens and putting lines down in general.
Hope y'all do too!
Heck yes. Love those things.
Perhaps I'll give them a more proper look!

Before eating?!
I admire the effort, my goodness.
And I don't normally let nibs get to such a state, but it looked very cool and suffered no flow issues.
Sadly, the pen has since been cleaned...

3 months late, but nice!
A blue black ink also makes for a pleasantly subtle variety.
And the Waterman Carene is a good looking pen!

Rooting for you!
So many colors too (though, I just have the basic black cap).

Thank you!
Ooo, a stub on an Eco sounds quite nice! I use a fine on mine.
As for ink, I'm sure you'll find the right one as even just choosing whichever looks best in the barrel is a fair method.

Ha! I've had folks in the past tell me what they see, but for the most part, I do this art to enjoy using my pens.
But!
I will say
One bit on the left side was made with that Pelikan clip in mind. Like a big spoon.

Don't mind at all!
It is Kon-Peki! A nice vibrant blue that pairs well with this pen.

So fun! I just love how much variation is out there when it comes to fountain pens 🙏

It is!!!
I'd recommend keeping an eye out on Ebay for those old models like the Sheaffer Targa, Imperial, and 440 as they all sport a variation of that nib at varying prices.

Thank you! A nice dark ink to contrast with the paper goes a long ways. Whether a deep blue, red, or some secret third choice, you can't go wrong with them!
And, excellent! There's just so much variety to them, how could you not be a fan?!

Gosh, I've seen those Waterman Carene nibs and they're certainly something!
What these old Sheaffer pens have over them, however, is the fact that people don't care about them anymore! Which means there are good deals out there.
As for the art, I really was simply putting lines down for fun 🖋️
