So far my plan extends to basically feeling despair at yet another enshittification event. Open to better options but not seeing them materializing just yet.

In December Christmas is All Around Us from Love Actually gets in there in a bad way. As far as real songs go, I can't call it "good" in any sense, but if we're grading on the steep curve of holiday music, it probably beats Do They Know It's Christmas

As a family I don't think they're the worst, I just think it's a larger betrayal to go in for a top tier candy and get dreck like a Reese's egg than it is to be confronted by something obviously nasty like a 3 Musketeers.

I feel like the candy bars with other stuff going on are less offensive than say the eggs or trees, because you're not going in expecting the flawlessness of a regular Reese's, it's its own thing.

Any novelty Reese's shape - classic cup or mini cup are the only legal choices. Everything else has the wrong ratio of chocolate to peanut butter, so it's more upsetting than a straight up bad candy bar such as 3 Musketeers because it's bait and switching you.
