I also loved that your vid came right before mine in the vidshow -- mine was to a song that I associate very strongly with a particular time in my life, which happens to be when I lived in Iwate. So it hit doubly hard!

We did overlap! I lived in Uzumasa/Hanazono 2005-2007! Before Kyoto I was in Iwate prefecture for a couple of years, and also briefly Nagoya. I haven't been back since around 2009 - I so want to, hopefully someday!
