The sacred is not locked in books or bound to buildings. It lingers in the hush before dawn, in the weight of a river’s pull, in the space between a question and its echo. We are Mapping the Sacred—not to contain it, but to notice. To name. To kneel. Where do you find the holy? #Mysticism

"Is it just me or is the dad in this story a not a great dad? That’s probably what Jesus’ first listeners thought when they heard this parable. Why can’t this guy control his sons...?"

Rituals ground us in the sacred woven into daily life—a candle lit, a deep breath, a quiet pause. What small practice helps you feel anchored? Today, notice how the ordinary can become sacred.

Sacredness isn’t always grand—it’s in the warmth of sunlight, the rhythm of your breath, the way your body senses presence. Today, notice the somatic dimension of the sacred. How does your body awaken to the holy? Pay attention. It’s closer than you think.

In the quiet spaces between thoughts, a whisper calls us deeper. A presence felt but unseen. In stillness, we find the echo of something greater, inviting us to listen beyond words. #MappingTheSacred #ListenDeeply

Empathy is the sacred act of stepping into another’s story without trying to rewrite it. It’s where listening becomes prayer, and compassion becomes the bridge. #SpiritualityOfEmpathy #SacredListening

The sacred shimmers at the edges of the seen—felt in silence, in shadows, in the space between. Mapping the Sacred is a journey into mystery, tracing the contours of the holy. Where have you glimpsed the divine?

Friendly reminder: 2 Thess 3:10 ("Those who don't work shall not eat") wasn't directed at the "lazy poor." The charge was aimed at the idle rich who felt too important to be found working alongside those they deemed inferior. This is another example of the bible creating an egalitarian community.

Hope is not a feeling; it’s a practice. It rises like a prayer in the throat of the weary, a steady hand on the shoulder of the lost. Hope does not erase the dark—it walks through it, humming a song older than fear. #SacredHope #MappingTheSacred

Some places hum with a presence that cannot be named—fog rolling over the hills, the hush before a storm, the warmth of a hand held in grief. We call them thin places. They call us back to ourselves. Where have you felt the world open just a little wider? #ThinPlaces #Mysticism #MappingTheSacred
