Yup. Context matters. Folks were way less accepting of gay people back then, even thought it was a CHOICE. Was HUGE that Clinton basically passed a ‘leave the gays alone’ bill. Later Obama was able to pass a bill that allowed LGBTQ to serve openly. Now Trump fires trans people who serve.

This is how the US ended up with Trump as president. Focusing on Hilary’s imperfections and not on Trump’s gaping flaws and criminality. Republicans will unite under anyone while progressives nit pick. Ridiculous.
