33-19 win for England over New Zealand. I would not have predicted that. Fantastic performance and result, with opportunity to grow.

We're singing some fantastic music in this concert, including Poulenc's Quatre Petites Prières de Saint François d'Assise for men's voices which I'm enjoying especially. Don't miss out, get your tickets now!
Come join us in Headington on Saturday 18 October for our next concert: Love's Philosophy.

A very special day yesterday, when we conferred honorary Bachelors of Education degrees on our alumni from the 50s to the 80s. It really is a privilege to be part of this wonderful family.

We've moved into our new City Campus, and it's looking and feeling amazing. Some finishing touches left, but soon the first @uniofglos.bsky.social students will arrive and it's going to be phenomenal.

It's hard to capture what makes the University of Gloucestershire an inspiring place to work, where connections and a willingness to get involved are the hallmarks of how we support each other, but this lovely bunch of colleagues give it a go in this new video. #TeamGlos 💙

Seeing this built would be wonderful.
A new railway to Witney and Carterton would be economically viable with a benefit/cost ratio of over 2, according to a new study commissioned by West Oxfordshire District Council. The BCR would depend on the route chosen, with a construction cost of £600m or more.

This would be such a boon for West Oxfordshire.

I've been singing with @oxfordchoir.org for... well, quite a while now and this is the first time we've sung with a professional orchestra. If the phenomenal programme weren't enough on its own, that partnership puts it beyond doubt that this concert is one not to miss.
This Saturday, with the Instruments of Time & Truth, a leading professional orchestra, we're performing Haydn (Nelson Mass), Mozart (Solemn Vespers & Regina coeli), and Beethoven (Elegischer Gesang).

This is an unusual one for @oxfordchoir.org, as we're singing with a professional orchestra. And what a programme! It includes Haydn's Nelson Mass, one of his most dramatic and powerful sacred works. This is Duncan explaining why it's featured in this rare concert.
We asked our esteemed director, Duncan Aspden, why he chose Haydn’s Nelson Mass for his 20-year anniversary concert with the City of Oxford Choir. And this is what he had to say... 👇

The safety car made that race today. It would have been 😴 without it. McLaren opted to let Verstappen win by not releasing Norris from behind Piastri at the end. Good recovery from Hamilton. And how good have Williams become?! Great to see them so much nearer the top 4.
