I don't really care for feeling (or feel) included because I just interact w ppl individually, they just also happen to be friends with each other as well. That's what makes a sense of community.

But it also helps that we dedicate spaces or clusters of time to hanging out etc.

Honestly it's just a means of creating a friendship circle. Gotta interact to feel "included".

I have a select amount of people I usually spend time with and message pretty often.

Eh, keep it that way. 90% of the popular big career part of the community is doo-doo-butt. So just find cool people through either people you know or from some personal perusing.
