Actually, not a big fan of Schumer but shutting down the gov would have meant no Federal courts guardrail against this ‘admin’ and all mayhem that they create would’ve be blame on Dems and would be hard to unravel if ever. Sigh…

I see your article but remember that our prior government administration(s) and before the present one, governed as three equal divisions of power, so don’t placed all the blame on Biden/Harris as solely deciding policies of this magnitude. Dig deeper.
