The Dancing Satyr of Mazara del Vallo. An ancient Greek bronze statue that was recovered from the Mediterranean by a fishing boat crew in 1998. Dating to the Hellenistic period it now resides in the Museo del Satiro in Mazara del Vallo, Sicily.

The Monument of One Thousand in Marsala contains the names of the soldiers/adventurers who landed here in 1860, led by Giuseppe Garibaldi. Their march continued from Sicily to mainland Italy and ended with the birth of the Italian state.
