I know they’ve recently added ‘Listen to Page’ into the mobile Safari menu and it’s pretty good, but the Speak Screen two-finger swipe gesture should work p much everywhere (emails, Apple News, RSS readers, etc.) so might be worth a try? Occasionally it’s buggy tho and I have to jump into VoiceOver

I’m guessing you’ll know of it already, and it only helps when you’ve found the thing to read, but something I use a lot is (if you’re on an iPhone): Settings>Accessibility>Read & Speak>Speak Screen. If then you go to Voices>English and pick one of the Siri voices the results are usually pretty good
