I ran into a guy at D.C. protest. Veteran. Slept in the floor at train station the night before but said he had to get up early because the tweakers started moving around. I suspect he is struggling and it was an honor to be in same protest.

It would be reasonable if this wasn't just the foot in the door to attack us further, like what is happening in Texas right now. The best I have heard this termed is the thin edge of the wedge.
