In Latin America we understand the world as having 5 continents, one of them is called América. For us “of America” does not imply “of the United States”. It’s more like: the gulf is «americano», just like everything from Cape Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦 to Cabo de Hornos, Chile 🇨🇱. Joke’s on you, pendejo. 😂

In Latin America we understand the world as having 5 continents, one of them is called América. For us “of America” does not imply “of the United States”. It’s more like: the gulf is «americano», just like everything from Cape Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦 to Cabo de Hornos, Chile 🇨🇱. Joke’s on you, pendejo. 😂
