If there's a verbal agreement to pay the one, but say you missed a land drop so you can't play your turn "optimally" and still pay the 1, then yes, doubly so if by turn order the other players already paid the one.

Genuinely the Grand Cathay made me interested in TOW, but I dread finding out that half of this minis are resin and online only.

I feel like in a way this proves DaVinci's point.
Art is never finished, just abandoned. You can always return to a piece and add a brush stroke here and there

I blame WotC for inuring me to the prices of GW.
At some point I realized that for the same price of keeping up with Magic and the price of a "tuned" commander deck I could buy into Warhammer and IMO I find building and painting minis much more entertaining than sleeving a deck

Warcry has multiple warbands, a starter set, accessories and terrain to keep in stock and suddenly you have a whole faction's worth of stuff using retail space.

IMO it got bogged down by being solely about chaos cultists for an edition and a half
Because 4th "had" to cut off all excess Warcry warbands for StD it also killed the confidence on buying Warcry in general
It needs a proper full re-release to garner back faith so flip a coin on what GW does

It'd be nice if the fiery vermillion and moonstone yellow that don't fit into triads were made into a sub-range of more purely pigmented paints to mix with each other and to punch up the saturation of other fanatic paints.
