On March 27, 2025, I got a notification from TikTok telling me that I had unlocked the 'live' feature on the app. I was somewhat confused, as I was sure you needed 1,000 followers to unlock that feature, and I had a measly 100+ followers. I looked up the requirements on TikTok's support page, and sure enough, one requirement is 1,000 followers and did not have that.
