Just got back from a lovely anniversary dinner in the ‘Couv. Completely forgot about Billy, but am now reminded how tired I knew I’d be from FOV had I hit on the lottery. Billy Friday though. Stoked!

Back in our vegan days (seagan really), it was our standard order at one of our local spots. We still crave it, especially when those potatoes would get the perfect amount of crispy (but not too crisp). Man, RIP Rudy’s!

Bravo! Potato is an underrated topping. when done right, it excels. I used to pair with cashews from time to time. Delish.

Sadly got turned around @ Chirripo (daily quota met, but it rained anyways!) but that meant an extra day at Corcovado. No tapirs but SO MANY MONKEYS. The friend I was w/ then just took her kids back 4 months ago and her guide was in shock we did it all alone (Leona>Sirena>Los Patos>La Palma). Do it!

It’s been like 30 years since I was there, but Younger Me didn’t find it TOOOOO difficult. From SJ, bussed to Chirripo then to PJ. Back then you didnt need a guide to accompany you in the park, which I believe is no longer the case. Some first timers I know visited PJ and Corc last year & loved it
