Today is voting day for tons of local races. School board votes matter. Taxes & social funding matter. The Nazis have worked very hard to disenfranchise us because they know they don’t have the votes if we show up. Fuck the Nazis at the polls, fuck the Nazis in the streets & fuck the Nazis for life.

Halloween has always been my favorite time of the year. This year hasn't felt right for a ton of reasons, so I decided to look at some old trick or treat photos from the '80s. I'm with my sister in 3 of them, a neighbor-kid in the other.

As a kid in the 80s I was obsessed with the little orange hardcover books Crestwood Press put out, detailing the classic universals and the lore behind them. My love of Bride came from them.

I’m not just gonna recommend Starman because it’s the greatest comic ever created, by man or beast (even if it’s true) but it provides a roadmap to the overall history of the dcu, points out tons of classic stories to track down, and introduces the reader to all the weird little corners.
