Today I learned how to put trust my analytical skills in archery, a.k.a., properly using shooting gap aiming technique. As you may see on a first weasel 2D, I finally got how to work with my bow and set my bowhand properly.

I've almost won today's archery party, in Traditional Bow category. 2nd place of 5. Distance of 16,15 meters, WA 80 cm 6 Ring. If I didn't shoot two misses during 1st Range, I would propably won it... #archery #tradarchery #traditionalarchery

My new, wooden arrows set. 19 spruce pieces, bought at bargain price of 300 PLN ("used only once, too soft for 20+kg longbow user"). Weight 27 grams, spine 45-50, 85 grain tips.

Perhaps I'll switch to wooden arrows when my current carbon set will dimnish below 10 arrows... #archery #tradarchery

Shot from 5,5 meters (approx.), but still, nearby home. Fighting the Target Panic.

First day of fighting Target Panic. Shooting mostly at 5 meters, then at 9 m. Aside od controlling the hold at anchor for 3-5 second, I achieved results as following photos. Two first: at 5 m, the third at 9 m.

I'm for 99,99% sure, that I have a target panic in #archery. Most likely the third definition, according to Wikipedia (underlined):

In other words, more training just to overcome TP. I wonder if shooting partially blinded (closing eyes after locking up my bowhand on target) might work...

Shooting at winter is nice, just too cold for fingers. 4th January 2025, I've participated in internal archery sparing ( archery club) and tried to shoot accurately at sixteen 3D and sixteen 2D target, two arrows each. Let's say, I've got some numbers...
