The part that infuriates me the most is how this kind of stuff only reinforces my fear, my paranoia of relationships both platonic and romantic. Sometimes I feel like it's not even worth it. Like I'm constantly being lured into a trap that will close the moment I let my guard down.

No self-reflection. No empathy. No sense of culpability. Not one moment spent considering how their actions could negatively effect others. Everyone else? They're just objects of convenience, toys to be played with, things to be used and discarded. Ugh.

What tangled webs we weave. I had to ghost a (former) friend two months ago because she kept texting me flirty messages at 1am while lying in bed with her husband and just generally overstepping personal boundaries. It's like these people are pure Id. The world is entirely outward-facing for them.

Not-so-fun Fact: Denton, TX was a town run by the KKK from 1857 to 1928. There's even a cemetery referred to by the locals as the "Old Slave Cemetery" because it's where they frequently buried blacks that the Klan murdered.

That's a "Shellbelle". You only encounter them in two dungeons, but they're notable for singing a song that puts your whole party to sleep. Then they wake someone with a kiss that poisons. Strangely, the smooch only does 1 damage on hit.
