The lining process has begun.

Decided to play with poses a tad and really like this sketch. Still figuring out his shoes and I might make his pants match the sweater under the vest but outside of that I'm probably going to line him soon.

I got this lad from Doveplush!

Continuing on the trend of stingy insects, a Baldfaced Hornet with smaller than normal wings that fell out of the remaining paper of a nest that got knocked down by a storm. The entire time I handled them (just long enough to put them in a bush) 2 others watched me closely. Never got stung tho.

Not too long after the bees I found a wasp stuck on its back almost in the road, I let them rest on my hand (they didn't move just pressed against my hand for a bit, never once stung me either). Second pick was when they regained their energy, when they started moving I put them somewhere safe.

The day I became a friend to many a bee. (seriously this was like the highlight of my summer, I had so many little bees on and around me) I think they liked my mini Orchid.
