What rock have you been living under? There have been litterall protest all over, I remember several genocides just in my lifetime, there was equally as many speaking up as now, the only difference is that now, the opinions are instantly shared globally.

Absolutely not, but not everyone is bad on X either 🤷♂️it's never either or, it's always a little of both, or like it always seems to go with social media, more and more of one, until the echo is the only thing you hear.

I wish I had the lack of caring as you, but I don't, most people don't, thankfully, it's not about caring about everything online, it's about noticing the actual issue and doing something about it, but people like you just go around acting like the world isn't burning. Not your problem, right?

I think you've missed the point of this post, I'm.not disagreeing with you, I'm 40 years old, I very much remember a time without social media or even the internet. The point is that if you use social media, it doesn't matter where in the world you are, it's the same shit everywhere.

Same, I deleted Twitter in 2017 bc it had become an echo chamber, then joined bluesky, but this has now also become an echo chamber 🤷♂️ its like all social media is just becomes the same thing after a while, and now with meta going the same way as X with Instagram, I'm just deciding when to quit.

Yeah, that's been my experience too, editors usually like Google docs or Word, so I stick to those for most things.

Well not everyone uses word to write, there are many other programs out there for writers, so I was just wondering if someone had a good alternative to word 😊 but it seems like word is still the best writing program so 🤷♂️

I agree, I'm a bit old fashioned, I like to stick to what I've been using all my life, and Word isn't really that bad of a program if you know what you're doing, I've started using Google docs since I've got other people involved.

I use Google doc for most of my important stuff, it's always saved, I'm just looking for something that's make it easier to structure chapters etc.
