Yes! Beautifully stated. The back streets, sweet laneways, and admittedly, there’s a particular pleasure in rollicking past stationary vehicles; powered only by one’s own legs.

My bike commutes are typically faster than driving— sometimes soggy during a rainy period— but worth it— joy!
