Day 31, Final Day. What's bothered me most over the course of our acquaintance is that Missy's a person who only responds when contacted, never initiates it. I understand why of course (she comes FIRST!), but it's very one-sided. I need people who think of my welfare too and reach out on their own.

Day 30. Missy likes to quote "If someone shows you who they really are, believe them." She's probably now applying that to me. But she's overlooking that she may be getting responses to HER showing who she really is to them. You can't dodge all blame with that quote, Missy! Try Matthew 7:5 instead.

Day 29. What about Missy's personal needs? She treats her caregiver more like a maid/shopper/go-fer. Is someone checking meds (like in an organizer) to see if they are being taken properly, and making sure she showers? Does she have enough food, are her clothes clean? How is the cat's situation?

Day 28. Twice a week isn't enough for someone to be checking on her, it needs to be daily! What if Missy has another stroke on a Thursday and is lying there in distress until her caregiver returns on Monday? Has she given her neighbor friends keys so they can stop by if they haven't heard from her?

Day 27. Should Missy really be living unassisted? Her caregiver comes twice a week. Say she puts something in the oven, sets a timer, and dozes off - but doesn't hear the timer go off, it burns, and the smoke sets off the fire alarm. She could be endangering not only herself but her entire building!

Day 26. Memorial Day, the unofficial start of summer. Will Missy dare to venture outside or sample some traditional favorites? Will she even give her caregiver the day off? It's been a week since the procedure, but the results cannot be trusted because it wasn't actually a biopsy at all. Missy LIED!

Day 22. Missy's father, like her kids, wants nothing to do with her. She always goes on about how horrible her childhood was. I worked with the man, and saw none of the terrible things she talks about. I'm more inclined now to say his reasons for no contact might be valid. She's a bridge-burner.
