also these constrains kinda highlight how comics are just sequential storytelling... you really need for each panel to be "good enough" to create a good page, rinse and repeat to get a good comic, i guess? some panel can be iconic, but not every panel needs to be an illustration

Tim Mcburnie's observations really helped: what is the time generally allocated to each page? 1 day vs 1 week is very different and can set more constrains to play with... i've also seen artists being a bit cynical like "people stay on panels for 2-3 sec" to free themselves from the preassure
