Japan selling bonds would significantly increase interest rates and make borrowing would more expensive. That will mean more of the federal budget would go to service of debt and private companies would be less eager to take on projects with higher interest rates.

Caleb and Mariah relationship seems joyless. Caleb thinks he may be a checklist on a to do list for Mariah and a caregiver to her. Seems too heavy for two people in their 20s.

It might be he overvalued himself in the dating world.None of the women were interested &he didn’t want to lose Vanessa. he feared how it would be to be single. How quickly Vanessa seemed really into Nick makes me wonder if she sees the relationship with Dave as all that she is looking for.

Sandy and JR are not at the point in their life where they want to be married. Their partners putting pressure on them with an ultimatum will only build resentment.

I wanted to see more of Vanessa. Cannot help but wonder if she is going the safe route and didn’t explore what else is out there. It is understandable that she would be concerned about her longtime boyfriend on the show having a hard time but she seemed very interested in Nick quickly.

Sandy is a young acting 27. She like attentions and is not at the point in her life where she is ready to settle down and get married. I don’t really think that being 27 and wanting to experience life as a 27 year old as being a problem. She should be more honest about it to herself and Nick.

Aria probably confused what was familiar (her relationship with her dad) and thought that was a loving relationship model.
Being exposed to someone like Caleb might have opened up her mind where she can now see what a true loving relationship could look like.

Aria seems like the classic case of going for what is familiar and confusing the relationship as loving if Scotty is like her father. Or she may be subconsciously trying to get in the same type of situation as her past and trying to fix the guy.

Is it weird that he and Ezra Klein’d father and Navarro were professors at the same university and Ezra spent time hanging out at the around the university. Diversity of opinion is usually a good thing at a university.

More like he has Trump’s ear for regulating self driving cars that will serve his benefit, push for high tariffs on EV car imports to make them less competitive and end subsidies to US EV cars since Tesla is now the leader and can build on that if other car manufacturers don’t get subsidies.

I took it as Ramses seemed more invested in her and was more concerned she was into him. He expressed concern that she still liked him and he was worried he still had a chance with her, so she thought he wouldn’t abandon her. Only to find at the end he did - like other men in her life.

I don’t think he is sinister. Just a bad match. For one - He will never accept that Marissa was proud to have served in military He would only say she should not be feel ashamed for it.

One weird thing he made it a point that people volunteer to be in the military so they are complicit. But he voluntarily became a US citizen so he is not complicit for the wrongs the US does?

That would be an interesting twist. Tell the men and women one of the contestants they are talking to in the pods was AI. I wonder how that would change the conversations and show.
