🌎 Pastor, Advocate, Changemaker, and your candidate for NOLA City Council At-Large Div. 2. ⚜️ Fighting to make our city #EasierForEveryone. 🤝
This campaign was never just about one race. It was about a vision of a city where every family can afford to live, where the lights stay on, and where government leads with integrity and care. Let’s keep that vision alive. Let’s keep building, serving, and believing — together.

To my family, friends, & campaign staff, I am forever grateful or all your hard work & support. I also want to wish JP Morrell well as he embarks on his second term. My prayer is that we all — no matter our roles — keep working toward a New Orleans that truly serves everyone.

This campaign was an extension of that same calling: to serve others with compassion, courage, and integrity. And that work will continue.

For more than a decade, I’ve served as pastor of Broadmoor Community Church and worked alongside so many of you to stand up for what’s right — from environmental justice and utility reform, to affordable housing and good governance.

We created a campaign rooted in transparency, accountability, and community — one that lifted up the voices of everyday New Orleanians who believe this city can do better.

Together, we took so little and made it into so much. We gave people hope and a reason to believe again — and that made every step of this campaign worth it.

While we didn’t win this election, I am so proud of what we built together.

When our city is easier for nurses, it’s #EasierForEveryone. I’m so grateful to have the support of these dedicated healthcare professionals as we work together to build a healthier, fairer, and more equitable New Orleans. 💙

I also recently took the Patients Over Profits pledge, committing to refusing contributions from healthcare executives, lobbyists, and PACs. I’m the only candidate in this race who can make this pledge knowing I have never benefited from these corporate contributions — not once. 🙋🏾‍♂️

I’ve been proud to stand with the UMC nurses since their historic union recognition, which created LA’s largest new labor force in 50 years. When they went on strike to fight back against the unjust terminations, I joined them on the picket line to show my solidarity. 🪧

They know I will represent our city well when it comes to health, labor, and women’s issues, and they value my commitment to single-payer healthcare and clean money elections — issues that matter deeply to nurses and our community. 🩺
