Finished my first ever Underworlds terrain. Primal Lair! It was a lot of fun to try different textures and objects, certainly pushed my limited painting skills to the max. Luckily for me, I feel a lot less pressure when painting terrain for some reason, does anyone else feel the same way?

Just finished painting my first ever named character, Illuminor Szeras!
This model was a wild ride: fiddly parts, a diorama base, tons of weird alien energy tubes...

Played my first game of Warhammer Underworlds second edition and got the best compliment from my friends - “Did the miniatures come pre-painted?”. No they didn’t, I didn’t think they looked very good but was so happy that they thought they might have!

Big ego boost!

I’ve just finished painting my first ever Skaven models and had to share them. These little ratty fellas are from the Zikkit’s Tunnelpack warband from Warhammer Underworlds, and wow. What a wild ride it was!

The tails were a struggle… Still not good with contrast paint.

My first ever Stormcast Eternals, from the #Warhammer Underworlds Embergard. I was a little nervous but they ended up being a joy to paint. The armour covered so many annoying places to paint on humans - it was so simple.

Had a lot of fun putting together and painting this Command Barge. The overlord, warriors and floating ship are all fun to paint on their own as sub assemblies and together they are intimidating on the battlefield for a very unique Necron unit! 9/10!

Finished the Brethren of the Bolt! Happy with how these crazy dudes turned out! Got lots of experience with contrast paints, but still need to learn a lot more.

Super excited to finish the Underworlds Wintermaw box and excited to start Embergard next.
