here's what i did yesterday: dreamcast extension cable + rp2040-zero + i2c display = usb4maple.wikidot.com
you can buy these adapters preassembled, but afaik none with displays yet. use your fave controller (check compatibility) and thumb drive and get VMU emulation!

it's a small thing but i really like how coincidentally neatly the colors line up on my gay fitness tracker and band

one of those was an 8bitdo arcade stick that came with a slightly defective joystick (it's very loose and floppy). i tried to put in a new stick and made a total pig's ear. i still need to see if i can clean the replacement stick enough to use, but in the meantime i got the old one soldered back in

i took the plunge. looking ok so far, controller board is back in the dc and after playing some gta3 i'm letting it sit for a bit. i'll check back later

Haha it really is! I also keep an am/fm radio at work, in addition to a little fm/bluetooth transmitter I picked up over the winter. TFW you're gay and neurodivergent and the work trucks only have am/fm radios 😁

I restarted Celeste (still have never finished) and told myself I wouldn't get sidetracked by Celeste Classic this time. But I really couldn't help myself. I think I shaved about ten minutes off my last run, iirc.

The 6th gen iPod nano remains one of my favorite devices ever. It's basically a perfect music player.
