People who know me, know how I live my values. Ethics affect my personal purchasing decisions and I want them to affect the city's decisions too. It sounds like you don't. The election will tell us how the majority of Somerville voters feel.

Not everyone here is a CEO of a company, like the top Somerville donor to SUAD, and can control the ethics of the company that pays their wages.

Oh hi. You're talking about me. I fully acknowledge the hypocrisy where we are all complicit in the systems we want to change. I think it's still important to try to change them and I think collective action is more important that individual purity tests.

Also, genocide is an issue that all humans should care about regardless of location, but especially when your tax dollars are funding it; I thought this was obvious but I'm realizing that apparently it's not to some of our elected officials and candidates

I didn't realize it was literally that resolution that led to its formation. And to think that a group formed to oppose ceasefire would have the audacity to call themselves Shalom.
