To put this in perspective, unemployment peaked during the global financial crisis at 10%. During the Great Depression it peak at 25%. So these are basically talking about an economic crisis worse than 2009 and almost as bad as the depression, but the billionaires will keep their wealth.

TSLA is down pre-market to $383. Almost flat for the year.

So many people about to get wrecked.

The only advantage is the mortgage payment would stay the same outside of insurance and taxes. Technically it could cost less over time vs renting if you didn't run into any major repairs. Still a terrible financial decision.

I just can't believe anyone is seriously considering this stuff.

But Trump just announced 15 yr car loans. So I’m sure Nvidia customers will be able to buy more chips that are obsolete after 5 years with 15 yr loans.

If a robot truly capable of most household chores was available, then I'm sure there would be 1M buyers at a reasonable price ($20k?). But this isn't going to happen in our lifetime, and it wouldn't be affordable.

I'll just stick with my roomba for now.

Agreed. Assuming we finally get a big correction, I'll definitely be buying into a handful of stocks and ETFs. However, this feels like the correction that is never going to happen.

I have been dipping in and out over the past 9 months, but remain largely in cash as of a few weeks ago.
