Just got back from Kira's 1st vet check-up since her surgery.
She has to be on medication for the rest of her life for hyperthyroidism, but her bloodwork came back normal so it's just to keep it within normal range. I am so relieved I could cry! 😭❤️
She was so good at the vet today too! Super calm!

Home safe and sound! She's been put on antibiotics & pain medication, & she'll have to go for a check-up in September, but I'm so happy to have her home!
Even my other cat, Ziggy, is worried & looking over her! 🥰
And my god, they shaved her belly for the surgery, and I've never seen it so pink. 😂

Sorry that I've been a bit MIA. I had to pick up extra shifts at work since my cat was sick and just underwent surgery for Pyometra. Luckily, we caught it in time, and there were no complications. She survived surgery, and she gets to come home tonight!
