If the data is not uniformly distributed on Riemannian manifold I don’t even want to hear it

I'm surprised that there doesn't seem to be any idiomatic references to a concept of homomorphism in coding. For example, how applying some mapping to two numbers could not be respected by addition.

Does anybody know of how comp sci or programmers talk about this kind of property?

Does anybody know what this class of problem is called in ML literature or elsewhere?

I need to use features at time i=0 to predict some (say continuous) target values at time i=1 through i=n.

My biggest professional frustration is not having a precise framework for the ROI on "understanding" or conceptual mastery. I see conceptual mastery as the north star of the university system; it's a compounding effect that's hard to measure.
