so I tried to put myself directly in the shoes of the characters as I did these and this is roughly how the WASTE Creature one went

That's normal, innit?" In the third one, two more questions: "I have wanted to touch a man intimately and/or be naked in the company of a man" and "I have found myself sexually aroused by a man". WASTE Creature is sweating and looking away, saying "Well... err... I..." In the fourth one, the question: "I have wanted to touch a woman intimately and/or be naked in the company of a woman." WASTE Creature looks more confident again and says: "Oh! Well, obviously! This test is easy." In the fifth one, the questions "I have fantasized about sexual intercourse with a man" and "I have found myself wanted to have real-lie sexual intercourse with a man". WASTE Creature is biting his finger nervously and blushing, saying: "U-Uh... maybe... I guess...?" In the final panel, the results show mainly bisexual, homosexual leaning. WASTE Creature is pouting and saying: "Well bollocks."

How “I Might Be Wrong” by Radiohead aligns PRETTY heavily with my fanon WASTE Creature! I’ll start by giving a little bit of context to what my fanon WASTE Creature is like if you… blech… DIDN’T read my fanfiction…. WASTE Creature is kinda like Despot lite. Evil, greedy, etc. But unlike Despot, he has a bit of a tragic backstory. Minotaurs like him (ESPECIALLY like him, as a mutant) were pushed around and relatively ignored by the human population. A lot of minotaurs just kinda wander around city streets cluelessly. A large chunk of WASTE Creature’s life was like that, up until he started working for W.A.S.T.E. And yes, even from that point in his life, he was very much interested in Despot. Only when Despot finally swept him off his feet did he finally feel like his life had any kind of purpose. To make Despot happy! And he also became the CMO of W.A.S.T.E. in the process but that’s less important. So pretty much the center of WASTE Creature’s life right now is Despot. Now, like I’ve done in the past, this is my horrifically loose attempt to connect vague lyrics to a character. That’s not to say the lyrics actually mean any of what I think it means in relation to WASTE Creature. Just… humor me. If you want. (Also, there’s more info about WASTE Creature on my CharacterHub if you care to know.) For the sake of argument, I may ignore pronouns at times. Just so I can connect the lyrics. "I might be wrong I might be wrong I could've sworn I saw a light coming on" Unfortunately, we’re starting off with the most difficult lyric for my argument. I assume that these lyrics are in reference to the phrase “the lights are on but nobody’s home,” i.e. someone being dull or stupid. For the sake of WASTE Creature, I think of it as him becoming more aware of life and its purpose. The light turning on is, perhaps, him “going home” (gaining insight or intelligence). "I used to think I used to think There was no future left at all I used to think Open up, begin again" WASTE Creature slowly losing hope after wandering the city purposeless for years. Perhaps he truly does not have a purpose, or that he has no future. Well… he used to think that. But ever since he offered himself and gave himself a new shot at life, he’s since learned that he does indeed serve a purpose in life! "Lets go down the waterfall Think about the good times and never look back Never look back" This is representative of Despot (or the W.A.S.T.E. conglomerate) basically reaching out to WASTE Creature, offering him good times and sending him down a permanent path of greed and malice (the waterfall, if you will). It’s taught WASTE Creature never to look back at the past. So much, in fact, that he LOATHES his past self and refuses to offer himself any kind of pity. It’s all about the present and the future now. "What would I do? What would I do? If I did not have you? Open up, let me in." This speaks for itself really. What would WASTE Creature have done without W.A.S.T.E. and Despot? He simply would not have found his life’s purpose. He strives to be let into the inner circle, the one that brought him such success in his life. Full of equally vindictive people. Not that he sees that as a negative. "Let's go down the waterfall Have ourselves a good time, it's nothing at all It's nothing at all Nothing at all" Again, basically a repeat of the first chorus. Possibly really trying to cement it in his brain that going down the waterfall is the right thing to do for his own sake. But ultimately what’s happening to him is that his personality is being stripped away from him, replaced by an entirely new and antithetical one. Despot wants WASTE Creature to be nothing like his old self anymore. A yes-man. That was his true intent all along. (But thankfully he started to genuinely fall for him, so that was a close call!) WASTE Creature seemingly could not care less.
