David Lynch gave us the language we needed to better articulate the indescribable strangeness of our shared reality. “Lynchian” is so overused because it’s a viscerally understandable word without any known synonyms. I can’t imagine a more beautiful artistic legacy than that.

Instead of another anime/comic con, we need a Scholastic Book Fair con with dozens of vendors selling fun reading accessories. I use to set money aside as a kid to make sure I got the best bookmarks, erasers and fun trinkets 😂

As a latchkey kid myself, Wim’s home dynamic was interesting to see on screen. I get why he craves adventure. I just wish he wasn’t so selfish about it. Neele is a saint putting up with him sometimes 😅
