Funfact: she ended up adopting a weird eldritch child she was supposed to capture and hand over to the inquisition. Their name is feather and they can turn into a weird bird monster thing but she's trying to give them the best childhood she can

Since then it was surprisingly smooth sailing with him. She had no hesitations giving him the occasional human sacrifice (in secret) and he gave her very impressive bloodmagic powers. What started as a one-time deal slowly turned into actual religious worship with him owning more of her soul

Undeads are generally seen as evil abominations and that's what she saw herself as. After realising she wouldn't stay dead she made getting revenge her only goal in (un)life and began hunting the man that killed her
