no i get it with some people you can tell they are short just by looking at their face (i unfortunately suffer from this) but you can’t really tell with her at first.

and i also think irene draws a lot of inspo from boa in terms of singing in dancing. she said before that she loves going to concerts to learn from other artists and she went to boas not too long ago :))

generally i feel like it’s quite difficult to capture the essence of theatre on screen. the magic often gets lost or doesn’t translate. but when people who love and understand musical theatre are involved the result is usually better. so i’m actually really looking forward to their performances

very often people with no musical theatre background are casted for movie musicals because they look the part or bc they are well known actors and it backfires. especially iconic roles like glinda and elphaba are really difficult to pull off
