I feel like that's a very weak take, especially for a sci-fi author. For Atheists, religious myths are just stories, right? Why would they be any different from using stories to explore ethics of sentient AI, robotics or cloning. Telling stories to figure out morality is such a human thing to do.

Makes sense I guess. Thanks for the reply!

What do you think about not studying Kanji and instead just learn words with their readings and meanings with something like Anki? The immersion learning crowd seem to have great success with it and imo it's kinda easier (once you know like ~1000 words) and immediately useful.

I think this is the most important point about this issue. The amount of people that believe kids get surgeries done is insane.
Although it's not 100% social transitions right? I thought they can get puberty blockers (which are reversible and safe afaik).

I love music with Mongolian throat singing, it works really well with metal and hip hop as well

Oh yeah that makes total sense. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a correlation between the two. My point was just that shyness and introversion are two different concepts. There's lots of people who are both but there's also lots of introverts that have great social skills and are not shy at all.

literally me after every interaction I've every had

Sorry I don't understand what you mean. Being shy means being hesitent, timid and/or anxious about approaching people. Introverted means that social interactions are draining and you recharge by being alone (in contrast to extroverts who recharge via social interactions).

Isn't this just being shy? Introverted and extroverted has nothing to do with social skills but how draining/energizing social interaction and/or being by yourself is.
