Metaphore Re:Fantazio at its heart is a story about fantasy, about why Fantasy is important. About why we can’t just wright off Fantasy as ‘not real’, when fantasy itself has real consequential effects….

I played the demo, they called these freaks of natures Humans, and I knew right then and there I had to buy this game. The games literally name Metaphore.

A twist to players if you’re more familiar with the persona series is that each of the main cast can use other archetypes and develop them like a skill tree. The point I think being. As illustrated by the skill tree that an archetype is an extension of an individual

About archetypes. The main power system the main cast use are called archetype probably for the above reason. A story about Romance naturally has it that you become more powerful by embracing those roles. A literal interpretation as these roles encase the cast

The first thing to note Is that Metaphore is a very Romantic piece of storytelling. Not kissy kissy Romantic I’m talking prince saves princes by fighting the dragon Romance. It’s a story type that embraces the tropes and archetype’s of the genre
