综合台湾媒体报道，中国民国政府证实前中共风云人物薄熙来之子薄瓜瓜前往台湾，与一名台湾女子结婚后。
台湾陆委会在一份声明中称，薄瓜瓜是以中国大陆人身份“申请来台团聚”，并称“因申请人身分特殊，政府对全盘状况均有所掌握”。
陆委会还表示，出于隐私考虑，不会透露更多细节，并称家属亦“希望低调”。
