We are going to attempt to see the replica run from Shildon to Darlington tomorrow. In theory we have a car park space and tickets reserved, but is likely to be a busy day!

I've had to do similar insulation modifications on some older N and OO gauge locos when converting to DCC. Hornby 80's tender locos used the live pin drawbar which gave me running issues.

My high level OO layout is GWR as this was my Dad's passion when he started us off railway modelling when I was a kid. Also my Mum is from the west country and has the West Somerset Railway on her doorstep. The layout uses all our stock, models and track from the 1980s.
