Is anybody else bothered by the term "working class?" In my mind, everyone who holds a job works. How many people support themselves on passive income? White collar/blue collar, laborer/office worker...these mean something. Working class means nothing.

Online I keep seeing the vulgar video showing Trump in a jet plane. I thought it must be a poor attempt at satire by some Trump opponent. But it looks like he really did post this video resembling an eighth grade boy's dirty joke. Why? Is he insane?

So the party that is ramping up enforcement personnel to unprecedented levels is about to force a shut down that will remove their pay. Somehow, I don't think those guys are willing to work for free.

More beautiful, innocent children killed by gun violence. It's not about Democrats or Republicans; it's about Americans obsessed with a constitutional right to own guns. The fact is that if you own a gun for protection, you are much more likely to be a victim of gun violence than if you do not.

The news this morning talked about how the number of people registering as Democrats has severely dropped. It didn't mention how the number of people identifying as Independents has surged. If unhappy Repulicans and Democrats joined forces, we could win our country back.

If my state of Washington did some fancy gerrymandering, we could turn our two national house congressional republican seats into democratic seats...do what it takes to defeat the fascists.

The electoral system in the US makes a rural vote worth more than a city vote. Any redistricting that makes my city vote equal to my farmer friend's would not be gerrymandering. It would be a step toward achieving a country where "all men are created equal."
