the fuck up that was last year. they feel like a fresh start. i also consider the winx as that in some ways, but the winx have been with me through all the bs last year. huntrix haven’t. so i consider them a better representation of like, me reinventing myself as a person this year.

i typically use fanfics—and creative writing in general— as a way to think critically about myself and the situations and ppl around me, and huntrix are basically my new stress balls lmao. but also they’re my lil personas, my dolls that i make smooch, my new emotional regulation tactic

it’s so obvious to me why i hfixed on them. i have so much emotional investment in their personality traits and fears, in the little parts that compose them and huntrix as a group. i feel comfortable exploring my personal values and emotions through them, and it has been very helpful to do so
