Yeah. Agree. That’s probably why people fear the concept of giving Indigenous Australians even a voice in how we use this land - because they would shut that shit down and rightly so. We have zero respect for life human or otherwise.

I would love this! We can vote in candidates who’ll end all the perks we currently give retired politicians. Let them live like normal people.

I think any system of politics can work if the politicians aren’t considered above the law, are held to account and do not receive financial privileges for doing their job. Mistakes of these MF don’t serve us yet we pay them handsomely for the destruction they wrought.

That’s the thing. Voters didn’t landslide to the ALP. Liberal preferences delivered the ALP wins to keep the greens out.

It will only be tested if there are alternatives thee as t can win seats….the duopoly will ensure that doesn’t happen. I think though, that we’re on the same page in wanting equality, justice and politicians that work to make the lives of ALL Australians easier…. Which isn’t what we currently have.

We need to devise a system that eliminates major parties. They aren’t governing for us. They are governing for the benefit of foreign countries and corporations.
I’m unsure how we get to that because these MF crave only power and will oppress, perhaps even kill, us to keep

The preferential system is what delivered us Labor at the expense of Greens candidates. It allowed the duopoly to become a two-faced monopoly
