While comedy can be a reaction to traumatic events, what Hegseth did puts everyone in our country, especially our troops, in real danger. I don’t find memes, posts saying “Pete just texted me…”, or posts about it ending in “lmao” to be funny. This isn’t something to make light of in any way.
