Dems in Washington aren’t the right messengers anyway. Shapiro, Whitmer, Polis, Newsom all need to have big news around the immediate impacts of funding holds on the issues voters care about (which sadly won’t be school lunch programs)

Let’s be clear. This is a paid professional athlete receiving $5M to take the field. Also - his “major” is psychology … and did he actually go to those classes? I wish him luck in the NFL … but let’s not pretend on the student athlete BS - college football is a pro sport.
