#NamYoonSu also stated he “really felt like things are changing lately, and it feels like we’re opening up new paths to move forward. Even I’ve gotten emotional thinking about how much more open-minded our society has become. I trusted the director and writer completely when I took on this project.”

When asked about the backlash regarding the kdrama’s LGBTQ+ themes, #NamYoonSu said: “Honestly, I didn’t really care about that stuff. If I get hate comments, I just laugh them off. But those comments are from maybe one in a hundred people. In fact, there’s been a lot more support than criticism”.
