I personally didn’t mind how the series went (minus some choices) but I am very interested in how GRRM wants to write the next book and what happens. Hopefully one day!!

He’s said he’s working on it but we have no timeline or updates really. Technically the books end with S5 but a lot of S4 & 5 were adapted differently from what’s written and what he plans to write. Sooo idk lol i still want to give them a try eventually

I’ve been trying to read them for years haha maybe soon but they have been hard for me to get into. It also sucks that it’s an unfinished series.
