I am younger than 47 but my oldest kid's friend group is 16-18, and they all look like kids. Sure there is an exceptional kid here or there that genuinely looks a few years older, but they are still not mature. At the end of the day their brains are still years away from fully developing.

I dread November every year, I wish we would just stay on DST all year. Goes from 6pm to 5pm.

It may turn voters off that the Democrats are trying to do a "European" thing in 'murica. But honestly I think it's a good idea. We should openly borrow more ideas from other Democracies and this would help organize things better, and demonstrate that there's an effective cabinet waiting and ready.

Similar role that shadow governments play in Parliamentary systems. Instead of every Dem politician messaging on whatever, there would be a shadow cabinet offering messaging on what "their department" would be doing and focusing/specializing on that area and presenting that they are ready to lead.

Yep, when I moved from the deep south up north I was kind of shocked my taxes did not really go up at all when you look at the big picture, and my kids get free school lunches.
